Assistance in Filling Out Claim Forms

Even though the Health and Welfare Fund does not directly provide the basic health care coverage that members obtain from the School District, the Fund has instituted a service that is sorely needed.

Fund coordinators will assist members in filing claims and serve as advocates in collecting monies that are rightfully due to members. When a member finds that his claims are constantly rejected or that there are difficulties in obtaining proper reimbursements, he/she should call the Health and Welfare office and contact a coordinator.
